Thinkific

Thinkific subscription invoices download from the admin dashboard, by the Site Owner or a Site Admin. Go to Account in the left-hand navigation, select Account Management, click Invoices, then Download PDF beside the invoice you need and choose where to save it.

Who can download

Only the Site Owner and Site Admins see Account Management. A course instructor or assistant without that role has to ask one of them for the PDF. The same area shows which plan the site is on.

Thinkific Payments fees in the Transaction Report

If Thinkific Payments is your primary payment processor, the Transaction Report under Sales, then Transactions lists every payment from your students with a detailed fee breakdown. It covers successful and failed payments, refunds and chargebacks, filters by date and product, and lets you choose columns. It does not list $0 purchases. Each row carries the order number and the product type, one-time, payment plan or subscription, with a separate line for every payment plan or subscription charge. Selecting Export sends you an email with a CSV of the report.

Student receipts

From the same Transactions table you can view the receipt for a student's payment, refund a transaction, or open the student profile, the order and any affiliate. That receipt is the student's proof of purchase, not your invoice from Thinkific.

Sites on Stripe or PayPal

The Transaction Report only covers Thinkific Payments. Sales processed through Stripe or PayPal appear in the Orders Report instead.

Thinkific invoice lookup

Account Management, then Invoices is the lookup for what Thinkific bills you. The Transaction Report, searchable by order details, is the lookup for what your students paid and what processing cost.

Thinkific invoices for the course business

Course creators end up with two records to keep: the platform subscription and the processing fees on student payments. Our AI agent signs in to Thinkific with a Site Owner or Admin login and saves each subscription invoice through bill fetching. Plan invoices forwarded from the Site Owner's inbox are filed by email receipt capture, and both records feed your tax receipts at year end.
