How to get a Sentry receipt

Sentry receipts are under Settings, Subscription, Receipts in your organization. Only members with Billing or Owner-level permissions can open them. Everyone else needs to ask an administrator to send the receipt.
Getting to the Receipts page
- Sign in and select the organization.
- Open Settings, then Subscription.
- Choose Receipts and open the charge you need.
The Subscription overview on the same menu shows the plan, reserved volumes and the pay-as-you-go budget.
What each charge covers
On a monthly subscription, the plan and reserved volume are billed at the start of each cycle, and the same bill includes pay-as-you-go usage from the previous cycle. On an annual subscription, the plan and reserved volume are billed once a year, and pay-as-you-go usage arrives on a separate monthly bill. Seer is billed as its own monthly charge outside the pay-as-you-go budget. An annual customer therefore keeps one large receipt and a series of smaller ones.
Pay-as-you-go limits
Usage above your reserved volume draws from the pay-as-you-go budget, shared across categories first come, first served. You are only charged up to that budget. Data beyond it is dropped. Unused reserved volume expires at the end of each billing month and is not credited.
VAT, sales tax and exemptions
In the EU and UK, Sentry adds VAT unless a valid VAT ID or exemption documentation was supplied before or at payment. In the US, sales tax depends on the billing address. For an exemption, email tax@sentry.io with the organization name and a signed exemption certificate. Neither a new address nor a certificate changes tax on older bills. Set them up before the next charge.
Upgrades and downgrades
Plan upgrades apply immediately and appear on the next receipt. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the contract cycle and are not refunded. Raising the pay-as-you-go budget takes effect within minutes, and within 24 hours at most.
Sentry receipts without asking an Owner
Most engineers can't open Sentry's Receipts page, which is why receipts get lost. Connect a Billing-permission login and our AI agent saves each new receipt from Subscription with bill fetching, annual and monthly pay-as-you-go alike. The receipts land in expense reports with the VAT already read, and subscription tracking shows how error and replay volume moves the monthly bill.
