How to get a Postmark invoice

Download an invoice

1. Sign in as the account Owner.
2. Go to Account, then Billing.
3. Scroll to Invoices and select the one you need.

An older Postmark article lists receipts under Account, Receipts, where you open a receipt and use the browser's print menu to save it as a PDF.

PDF receipts arrive by email

Since July 2023, Postmark attaches a PDF receipt to the invoice email each time it processes a payment. For most teams that email is the easiest record to keep.

Copies for accounting

Under Account, Overview, the Billing notifications section takes extra email addresses. Use Add another contact for more than one, then Save changes. These contacts receive receipt copies, payment error notices and low-credit alerts. They are not Postmark users and cannot sign in.

Company name, address and tax ID

Postmark has no separate VAT field. Instead, go to Account, Billing details and write your company name, address or tax ID in the Receipt memo, then click Save billing info. The billing address comes from the card. To change it, add the card again with the new address and remove the old one. The Bill To name is the Owner's name, edited under Account, Profile. All of these apply to future receipts only.

Taxes

Postmark does not charge VAT or other international taxes. US customers who qualify for an exemption, such as nonprofits, government agencies and schools, can send an exemption certificate to support for review.

Add the address email receipt capture reads as a billing notification contact and every Postmark PDF receipt is filed the moment a payment goes through, memo included.
