How to get a Netlify invoice
Founder & CEO, Smartbills

Netlify invoices are listed in the team dashboard under Usage & billing, then Billing details, in the Invoices section. Only a Team Owner or a Billing Admin can open that list. Enterprise teams use the Organization's billing dashboard instead, where each invoice can be opened, paid or downloaded.
Invoices for Personal and Pro teams
- Sign in and pick the team that pays for the projects.
- Open Usage & billing and choose Billing details.
- Scroll to Invoices and open the month you need.
If you belong to several teams, each one has its own billing cycle and its own list. A personal side project and the company team never share an invoice, which is worth checking before you send a PDF to finance.
Enterprise and organization billing
Since March 2026, Enterprise customers see issued invoices right in Netlify. The Organization's billing dashboard lists them with a breakdown per invoice, a Pay button that leads to the invoice portal, and a direct download. Enterprise teams can also pay by ACH or wire transfer and can pay a year in advance, which other plans cannot.
Credit packs, auto recharge and the monthly charge
Accounts opened on or after September 4, 2025 use credit-based plans. Your billing cycle starts on the day the team was opened, and an upgrade mid-cycle is prorated over the days left. On Personal and Pro plans you can buy credit packs, which roll over, and turn on auto recharge, which tops up the balance in small increments. Auto recharge is off by default and only a Team Owner can switch it on. If it is on, expect more than one charge in a busy month and keep each record.
How Netlify takes payment
Self-serve teams pay by credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. PayPal and cryptocurrency are not accepted. A valid payment method has to stay on file to keep paid credit-based projects running. To change it, a Team Owner or Billing Admin uses Payment information on the same Billing details page.
Company name and tax details
Netlify's billing docs do not explain how to add a company name, address or VAT number to an invoice. For that, or for a billing error, the docs point you to Netlify Support, and Enterprise customers to their account manager.
Netlify charges your bookkeeper can find
Credit packs and auto recharge can turn one Netlify subscription into several charges a month. Connect a Billing Admin login and our AI agent opens Billing details on a schedule and saves every invoice with bill fetching. subscription tracking then tracks the team's spend next to your other hosting tools, and a developer who paid on a personal card can add the Netlify invoice to expense reports.
