How to get a Johnson Controls invoice

Johnson Controls customers find invoices in DataSource, the account portal for fire, security and HVAC systems at datasource.johnsoncontrols.com. Johnson Controls lists a central document repository for reports, invoices and service history among its features, along with online bill pay, under a single login for all three system types.
Invoice lookup in DataSource
Sign in to DataSource and open the document repository, where invoices sit alongside inspection and service reports. Keeping both together helps: a fire alarm inspection invoice is easier to approve when the inspection report is one click away. If your systems span fire, security and HVAC, the same login covers all of them.
Online bill pay and recurring payments
DataSource lists online bill pay as a feature. Johnson Controls' Essential Service offer, for security maintenance customers, describes a customer portal where you enroll in online bill pay, set up one-time or recurring payments and view payment history. Recurring payments settle the invoice when it is due, yet the invoice remains in the repository and is the document to keep for the books.
Former Richmond Alarm Company accounts
Richmond Alarm Company is now part of Johnson Controls Security Solutions, and invoicing under the Johnson Controls name started on May 7, 2022. Those invoices are paid online through the DataSource site at datasource.tycois.com. Invoices still issued under the legacy Richmond Alarm account are paid through a separate Secure Web Pay portal linked from the same page. For either kind, call 804-745-1117 and choose option 4.
Supplier portals are for vendors, not customers
Searches for a Johnson Controls invoice portal often surface Paymode-X and the supplier portals in the procure-to-pay pages. Those are for companies sending invoices to Johnson Controls. As a customer paying for service, monitoring or equipment, stay with DataSource or the payment link on your invoice.
Johnson Controls invoices filed with the service record
Inspection, monitoring and repair invoices for a building portfolio pile up quickly in DataSource. Connect your DataSource login and our AI agent signs in, downloads each new invoice and files it under the building it belongs to through bill fetching. Invoice emails can go through email receipt capture, and fire and security costs for every property are ready for tax time.
