How to get a Giant Eagle receipt

Giant Eagle offers eReceipts: sign in at gianteagle.com, go to Account Settings and choose one of the email options for your receipts. Curbside Pickup and Delivery orders also come with a printed receipt or an eReceipt. Lost the receipt? For items over $5, Giant Eagle still refunds to your original payment when the purchase was made on your Giant Eagle Advantage Card.
Turning on eReceipts
Giant Eagle's FAQ keeps it short: receipt preferences live in Account Settings, with a choice of email options. You need an online account first. Giant Eagle also asks you to link your Loyalty Card to that account, which is how curbside and delivery orders earn perks the same way store trips do.
Curbside and delivery: wait for the final total
The amount shown when you pay online is not the last word. Giant Eagle sets the final total at pickup, after out-of-stock items, variable weights and substitutions are settled. Online prices match the store, and the receipt you get at pickup, printed or electronic, carries the final figure. That receipt, not the payment screen, is the one to attach to an expense claim.
Refunds with and without a receipt
- Items under $5: cash refund.
- Over $5 with a register receipt or the Advantage Card used for the purchase: refund in the same form as payment.
- Over $5 with neither: a Giant Eagle gift card, and ID may be required.
- Over $25 with neither: a gift card only at store management's discretion.
Giant Eagle will also simply replace any unsatisfactory product, and its Own Brand items are guaranteed or double your money back under the same rules. Retailer gift cards, phone cards and cigarettes can't be refunded.
A wrong charge on the receipt
For refunds or incorrect charges, Giant Eagle sends you to the Customer Service Desk in your store or to Customer Care at 1-800-553-2324. Have the receipt, or the order details for a curbside order, in front of you when you call.
Giant Eagle eReceipts filed for the books
With eReceipts switched on, each Giant Eagle trip lands in your inbox, and email receipt capture moves it into Smartbills with the store and the total. Curbside orders tied to your account can be collected by our AI agent through bill fetching. Office supply runs and catering trays then flow into expense reports with the receipt attached.
