How to get a Docker invoice

Docker invoices are in Docker Home at app.docker.com. Choose your personal account or the organization, select Billing, then Invoices, and click Download next to the invoice. Organization billing history is only visible to organization owners.
Steps for either account type
- Sign in to Docker Home.
- Pick the personal account or the organization that holds the subscription.
- Select Billing, then Invoices.
- Click the invoice number to view it in the browser, or Download to save it.
Each invoice shows the bill-to details, line items, subtotal before discounts, total after discounts, and the amount due in USD. Unpaid invoices include a Pay online link.
Personal or organization?
A Docker Pro subscription on a developer's own account is invoiced to that account. Team and Business plans belong to an organization. If finance needs the invoice, check which account was selected at checkout. Renewal dates are set per plan. An organization with more than one plan has more than one cycle.
VAT or tax ID and billing details
At checkout, tick I'm purchasing as a business and enter your tax ID. VAT numbers need the country prefix, for example DE123456789. Paid and unpaid invoices cannot be changed. Docker finalizes the invoice on the renewal date. Update billing details before then if you want them on the next one.
Paying by invoice
Annual Docker Team and Business subscriptions can choose Pay by invoice for future renewals at checkout. The first period is paid by card or US bank account. At each renewal, Docker emails an invoice to pay manually instead of charging the card. The option is not offered when upgrading an existing plan. Sales-managed customers change it through their Docker representative.
When a card payment fails
Docker sends an email titled Action Required, Credit Card Payment Failed, with the unpaid invoice attached. After a 15-day grace period, the subscription drops to the free plan.
Docker subscriptions on the company's books
Connect the organization owner's login and our AI agent downloads each Docker invoice from Billing with bill fetching, including renewals for plans with different dates. Pay-by-invoice renewals arrive by email, which email receipt capture files as they come in. A developer's personal Docker Pro charge can go through expense reports.
