How to download an Oakville Hydro bill

Oakville Hydro bills are in MyOakvilleHydro. With paperless billing, all bills are stored in the account and you can open a PDF copy at any time, with an email link each time a new one is ready. You still have 23 days to pay each bill. Halton Region bills Oakville water and wastewater through Oakville Hydro, and those charges appear on the same bill.
Registering and going paperless
To validate the account you need your account number, meter number and telephone number. Then select Sign-Up for Paperless Billing, which stops the paper bill. Water meter readings can also be submitted on Oakville Hydro's site.
Bill lookup in MyOakvilleHydro
Current and previous bills stay in the account. That is where to pull a copy for a lease, a mortgage file or a tax return, without calling customer service.
Ways to pay
- Financial institution: pay Oakville Hydro through your bank.
- Credit card: Kubra EZ-Pay, with a 1.75% fee. Allow three to five days.
- Mail: the return envelope, sent three to five days before the due date.
- Drop box: just outside the entrance at 861 Redwood Square.
If you have just made a payment, or want to tell Oakville Hydro about a future one, its site has a form for that. Customer Service also takes questions by email at customerservice@oakvillehydro.com.
Basic Plan and Equal Payment Plan
Oakville Hydro's automatic payment plans draw from your bank account. On the Basic Plan, bills come as usual, monthly or every two months depending on your service, and the amount due is taken on the due date. The Equal Payment Plan takes a fixed amount each month, on the 2nd or the 16th, worked out from the last 12 months of consumption and reviewed every year. Either way, the bill is the record to keep. Customer Service answers questions at 905-825-9400.
Oakville Hydro bills with water included
Since Halton's water charges sit on the same bill, one PDF covers two utilities for an Oakville rental. Connect MyOakvilleHydro and our AI agent saves each bill with bill fetching. The bill emails can be captured with email receipt capture, and both utilities are ready for tax receipts.
