Hydro-Sherbrooke

Hydro-Sherbrooke bills are online in Mon compte Hydro. Subscribing ends paper bills and gives you access at any time to your bills, your balance and tools to analyze your use. You must already be a Hydro-Sherbrooke subscriber, and registration asks for a subscription number and the matching service entry number, both printed on the bill.

One account for every subscription

If you hold several subscriptions, such as a home and a rental, you create a single account. Enter one subscription number with its service entry number, and all your subscriptions become available. You can opt in to online billing on the registration form.

Bill lookup and what a bill shows

Residential bills, where only the energy used is charged, are produced about every 60 days. Each one shows the due date, an account status with transactions since the last bill such as payments, administration fees and unpaid amounts, and a past consumption table that usually covers the last year. The detachable payment slip goes back with a mailed payment.

Paying a Hydro-Sherbrooke bill

  • Your financial institution: online, by phone, at an ATM or at the counter, with the subscription or grouping number from the top of the bill.
  • Cheque or money order: in the return envelope with the payment slip, or to Hydro-Sherbrooke, C.P. 1720, succ. Place de la Cité, Sherbrooke (Québec) J1H 5N8.

Leave time for processing to meet the due date.

Pre-authorized debit and equalized payments

With pre-authorized payments, Hydro-Sherbrooke takes the amount due from your bank account on the due date. Fill in the pre-authorized debit enrolment form and return it by email, or by mail to C.P. 420, succ. Place de la Cité, Sherbrooke J1H 5J7. To change banking details, send a new specimen cheque. The Equalized Payments Plan spreads estimated use over 12 equal monthly instalments, with a monthly bill as a reminder and a review each spring. Your balance must be paid before you join, and two unpaid instalments remove you from the plan. The bill is still the record to keep.

Checking a dwelling's electricity costs

Signed-in Mon compte Hydro users can look up the consumption costs of another residential address at no charge with Compare Usage. That helps a tenant judge a unit before signing a lease. Without an account, ask at 819-821-5622 or abonnements@sherbrooke.ca.

Hydro-Sherbrooke bills for every subscription

One login covering several subscriptions makes Mon compte Hydro easy to file from. Connect it and our AI agent downloads each bill with bill fetching. The online-bill emails can be captured with email receipt capture, and the bills for a Sherbrooke rental build up for tax receipts.
