How to download a Burlington Hydro bill

Burlington Hydro bills are in the MyBurlingtonHydro portal, which needs activation. Once in, you can view or download full bills as PDFs and see historical bills and account history. Halton Region bills Burlington's water and wastewater through Burlington Hydro, and those charges appear on the same bill.
Activating the portal
You need your account number, printed beside the Burlington Hydro logo on your bill, and your meter number, shown beside the bill date. Without a bill at hand, the meter number is the six digits to the right of BH on the electricity meter itself.
Bill lookup and paperless billing
Go to the My Bills tab on the left and select Edit next to Paperless Billing. Paper bills stop, and Burlington Hydro emails a link each time a new bill is ready. Historical bills stay in My Bills. Each bill also carries an Electric Usage History chart and compares the current period with the previous bill and the same time last year.
Ways to pay
- Online banking: add Burlington Hydro as a payee.
- Credit card: Visa or Mastercard through Paymentus, online or at 1-866-903-3476, with a standard convenience fee.
- Mail: a cheque to 1340 Brant Street, Burlington, ON L7R 3Z7.
- Deposit box: open 24/7, by the south entrance doors.
- Your bank branch.
Burlington Hydro collects payment on behalf of the organizations that keep Ontario's electricity system running. The charges on your bill are grouped into electricity costs, delivery costs, regulatory charges and taxes.
Pre-authorized payments
Pre-authorized payments withdraw the total owing from your account on the due date. Burlington Hydro offers a Basic Plan and an Equal Payment Plan, which takes twelve equal monthly payments on the date you choose. Sign up, make a change or cancel with the forms on Burlington Hydro's site. The bill keeps coming on either plan and remains the document to file.
Burlington Hydro bills with water on them
Burlington's water charges ride on the hydro bill, which makes each PDF worth keeping for a rental or a home office. Connect MyBurlingtonHydro and our AI agent downloads each bill with bill fetching. Paperless bill emails can be filed through email receipt capture, and the year's bills are ready for tax receipts.
