Enercare

Enercare bills for accounts with a 12-digit number are in My Account at myaccount.enercare.ca. Click the Billing icon in the top menu, download a recent bill from the Recent transactions table, or select View more history for up to 24 months of bills, each with a download icon. Bills from an older 10-digit account stay in the separate Enercare Billing Portal.

Bill history lookup in My Account

  1. Log in to My Account.
  2. Click the Billing icon in the top menu bar to open the Billing overview page.
  3. Find the bill in Recent transactions and download it.
  4. For anything older, click View more history above the table. Up to 24 months are listed, each with a download icon.

The balance owing appears in the account due section at the top of the same page.

10-digit or 12-digit account number

Enercare is moving 10-digit accounts to its new billing platform. A customer with only a 10-digit account receives a new 12-digit number by email or mail. A customer with both has the 10-digit account folded into the 12-digit one, and the consolidated bill may be higher. Pre-authorized payment and paperless enrolments made by August 3, 2026 carry over, as do credits and balances. Bills issued under the old number can still be viewed and downloaded in the Enercare Billing Portal, but Enercare may stop offering it. Save those PDFs now; registration help is at 1-888-449-6291.

Paying an Enercare bill and pre-authorized payments

On the Billing overview page, select Make a payment under the amount due. Choose to pay once, or to pay now and enroll in pre-authorized payments for future bills, then enter the amount and card details. To set up automatic payments without paying first, open Billing Preferences and select Setup in the Pre-authorized payments section, choose a method, accept the terms and submit.

  • Online banking: payee "Enercare Home Services (12 Digit Acct)".
  • Phone: 1-855-642-8607.
  • Cheque: Enercare Home Services, C/O T46600, PO Box 4660 STN A, Toronto, ON M5W 0N7.

Unpaid charges carry a late payment charge of 1.5% a month. Pre-authorized payments still leave a monthly bill in My Account, and that bill is what to file.

Landlords with several rental units

Each rental unit can carry its own Enercare account. In My Account you can add a secondary account by entering its account number, last bill date and last invoice amount, then switch between bills. For automatic payments across a portfolio, Enercare offers a separate pre-authorized payment form for property managers, returned by email.

Paperless billing and the paper fee

Each paper bill costs $1.50. In Billing Preferences, select Setup under Paperless Billing and turn it on; Enercare then emails a notification each month when the bill is ready.

Enercare rental bills filed by unit

Twelve units can mean twelve water heater rental bills a month. Connect your My Account login and our AI agent switches between accounts, downloads each new bill and files it under the unit it belongs to through bill fetching. The monthly paperless notices can be forwarded to email receipt capture, and a year of rental charges is ready for tax time.
