How to download an AmeriGas invoice

AmeriGas

AmeriGas invoices are in MyAmeriGas. Log in, open the Billing & Payments menu and select View Invoices; the date range at the top reaches back up to 24 months. To pay, select Make a Payment. To stop paying by hand, turn on Auto Pay under Payment Methods.

View Invoices: the AmeriGas invoice lookup

View Invoices lists each invoice as a PDF for the period you pick. Payments sit elsewhere: All Account Activity and View Payments, both in the Billing & Payments menu, also cover 24 months. The two views can disagree. An invoice keeps the balance as of the day it was generated, while All Account Activity includes payments and credits made since. A partial payment shows under Payment Due and All Account Activity, never on the invoice PDF.

Delivery ticket, invoice or monthly invoice

The driver leaves a delivery ticket after each fill. It is for your records but it is not the invoice, which follows a few days after the delivery. Customers on the Convenience Pay or AmeriGuard programs get a monthly invoice instead. A $0.00 amount due in a notification can still hide an invoice for service or a budget payment. Check View Invoices from the Account Summary when in doubt.

Paying an AmeriGas bill and turning on Auto Pay

  • Online: select Make a Payment, enter any amount and pay now or on a future date. A scheduled payment can be cancelled under View Payments until 11:59 pm ET the day before, unless it shows In Progress.
  • Phone: 1-800-263-7442, 24/7.
  • Mail: AmeriGas, PO Box 371473, Pittsburgh, PA 15250, with the remit portion of the invoice, or your account number written on the payment.

For Auto Pay, open Billing & Payments, select Payment Methods, add or review a saved method, toggle Auto Pay on, pick the method and select Confirm. Payments then process on each invoice's due date, and AmeriGas can text a reminder a few days before. Auto Pay pays the invoice but does not replace it; the PDF in View Invoices is the record to keep.

Several tanks and several accounts

Tanks under one account share a balance. A second account is added with Link a location, using its account number and billing ZIP code, and MyAmeriGas then shows one account or delivery location at a time. Balances do not combine across linked accounts. One card or bank account can pay them all, but it has to be added under each account.

Paperless billing and the paper invoice fee

Paper invoices cost $3.99 each. Turn Paperless Billing on under Billing & Payments, then Billing Notifications.

AmeriGas invoices filed for every tank

Switching between linked locations one at a time to pull invoices is slow for a property with tanks on several buildings. Connect MyAmeriGas and our AI agent signs in after each delivery, downloads every new invoice for every linked location and files it by site through bill fetching. Invoice-ready notices can go through email receipt capture, and a crew lead who pays for a fill on the road can claim it in expense reports.
