Reliance Home Comfort

Reliance Home Comfort bills are in myReliance. After you sign in, select View Bill on the account home page for the latest bill, or Billing History for up to 24 months of bills. Payments are listed separately under Payment History in the Payments section, also for up to 24 months.

Billing history lookup in myReliance

The account home page shows your last six billing and payment transactions under Billing & Payment History. That is enough for a quick check, not for year-end. For the full record, open Billing History for past bills and Payment History for past payments. To register, you need the account number printed in the top-right corner of your paper bill or on your welcome letter.

Reliance charges no longer ride on the Enbridge bill

Enbridge Gas ended its Open Bill Program, which had put Reliance rental charges under "Charges from Other Companies" on the gas bill. Reliance charges could no longer be billed that way after December 31, 2023, and they now come on a separate monthly Reliance bill. The rate and the rental terms stayed the same. Enbridge pre-authorized payments do not cover Reliance charges. A landlord who paid both through Enbridge needs a separate Reliance payment set up.

Paying Reliance and pre-authorized payments

  • Automatic: in myReliance, select Set Up Pre-authorized Payment under My Recurring Payment.
  • One time: open View Bill and, under Pay this bill, pick a saved payment account or add a bank account or credit card.
  • Phone: 1-866-RELIANCE (735-4262), option 3 then option 1, by Visa, MasterCard or bank payment.
  • Bank: online or in person, with "RELIANCE HOME COMFORT" as the payee and your 12-digit account number. Allow up to five business days.
  • Cheque: Reliance Home Comfort, Payment Processing Centre, PO Box 4504 Station A, 25 The Esplanade, Toronto ON M5W 4J8, up to 10 days.

A payment made after the last billing date shows on the next bill, not the current one. Pre-authorized payments do not replace the bill: it still arrives each month and stays in Billing History as the record of the charge.

One account holder per account

Reliance allows only one account holder on an account. A property manager acting for an owner can ask for an alternate authority through the billing contact page, which saves having the owner call every time a question comes up.

The $1.25 paper bill charge

Every paper bill adds $1.25. Switching to e-billing removes the charge and puts each new bill straight into myReliance.

Reliance rental bills kept for every property

Since the Enbridge change, each rented water heater or furnace produces its own Reliance bill. Connect myReliance and our AI agent signs in after each billing date, downloads the new bill and files it under the property through bill fetching. E-bill notices can be forwarded to email receipt capture, and the rentals for a whole building add up for tax time.
