How to download a SAWS bill

San Antonio Water System (SAWS) bills are viewed and paid in My Account at myaccount.saws.org. SAWS says any customer can see current and past bills there after verifying the SAWS account number and choosing a username and password. You can register just to view bills, with no obligation to use other services.
Bill lookup and e-bills in My Account
Once in, you can view and pay bills, track water use and set up account notifications. If you opt in to electronic bill presentment, SAWS emails a notice when the monthly bill is ready, with a link to view it online. To go back to paper, change the setting in your online profile.
Owners with several SAWS accounts
SAWS cannot consolidate several accounts into one statement. An owner with more than one property gets a separate SAWS bill for each account.
What else is on the bill
Besides water and sewer, the bill carries the water supply fee, the Uplift Assistance Program fee, the stormwater fee, a TCEQ fee and the Edwards Aquifer Authority fee. A meter trip fee, when charged, shows up in the Previous Balance line because the billing system can't itemize it yet.
Paying a SAWS bill
- My Account: payments from a checking or savings account, or by card through KUBRA with a convenience fee.
- Phone: through KUBRA, by check or card, with a convenience fee.
- Mail: personal check, traveler's check or money order in the return envelope. No cash.
- In person: one of the two SAWS Customer Service Centers, or a partner pay agency.
Card payments through the processor are capped at $500 per transaction for residential customers and $300 for commercial ones, though you can make several. Weekday payments made before 5 p.m. post the same day.
Free automatic bank debit
SAWS automatic payment moves the amount from your bank each month at no charge. Enroll through My Account or return the paper application. The monthly SAWS bill keeps coming with autopay on, and that bill is the one to keep.
SAWS bills, one account at a time
With one SAWS bill per account, an investor with four houses has four water bills a month to track. Connect your My Account login and our AI agent fetches each of them with bill fetching. The bill-ready emails can be filed with email receipt capture, and each property's bills stay grouped for tax receipts.
