Connect an Outlook or Microsoft 365 mailbox and Smartbills picks out the emails that are receipts or invoices and files them with their items, taxes and total. The free Smartbills for Outlook add-in, on Microsoft Marketplace, sends any email or attachment to Smartbills from the message itself.
What this integration does
Receipts found in the inbox
Order confirmations, e-receipts and supplier invoices are picked out of the mailbox each time it syncs, about every half hour.
An add-in inside Outlook
Smartbills for Outlook adds a button to the message, so one click sends an email or its attachment to Smartbills.
Matched to the card charge
Each receipt is matched to the purchase on your card, so it is already attached when you review spending.
Setting it up
Open Settings > Apps in Smartbills and search for Outlook
Click Connect and sign in with the Microsoft account to read
