Gmail
Connect a Gmail or Google Workspace mailbox and Smartbills picks out the emails that are receipts or invoices, reads the email or its attachment, and files each one with its items, taxes and total. Nobody forwards anything.
What this integration does
Receipts found in the inbox
Order confirmations, e-receipts and supplier invoices are picked out of the mailbox each time it syncs, about every half hour.
Attachments read too
When the receipt is a PDF or image attached to the email, that file is read and kept with the record.
Matched to the card charge
Each receipt is matched to the purchase on your card, so it is already attached when you review spending.
Setting it up
Open Settings > Apps in Smartbills and search for Gmail
Click Connect and sign in with the Google account to read
Receipts from that mailbox start arriving in Smartbills
