How to get a Remote invoice

Remote keeps every invoice it sends you in the Remote invoices tab of your account. Open an invoice there to get the PDF, or select Download itemized report for a CSV of every line. The billing contact also receives an email each time a new invoice is issued, with the PDF attached.
What Remote bills you for
Employer of Record customers receive pre-funding, reconciliation, reserve and ad-hoc service invoices. Remote also bills monthly package subscriptions and Remote Build implementation and maintenance work. Management fees are not a separate invoice; they appear as a line in the CSV breakdown.
The itemized CSV report
- Log in and open the Remote invoices tab.
- Select the invoice.
- Choose Download itemized report.
- Pick Full billing cycle or Final amounts only.
Reconciliation invoices issued from December 1, 2025 onward come with both versions of the report. If an invoice page shows an Invoice breakdown tab instead, Remote documents that layout in a separate article.
Paying a Remote invoice and auto-pay
Remote accepts bank transfer, ACH, SEPA or BACS direct debit, and debit or credit cards. To pay by card, open the invoice in Remote invoices, click Pay Invoice at the top right, choose the method and confirm with Pay Now. The status reads Payment processing until the funds arrive, then Paid. Picking bank transfer instead generates a payment summary with the transfer details, which you can reopen later from the same tab.
Once direct debit is set up, you are enrolled in auto-pay by default, and Remote collects ACH, SEPA and BACS payments at least three business days before the due date. Card payments are never automated, and you can opt out of auto-pay to pay manually. Auto-pay only changes how the money moves: Remote still issues the invoice, and that invoice is the record to keep.
Remote invoices sorted by type
A pre-funding invoice and the reconciliation that follows it look alike at a glance, and the books need both. Our agent can sign in to Remote with your login and collect each PDF and itemized report from the invoices tab, using bill fetching. Since Remote attaches the PDF to its new-invoice email, email receipt capture can file them from the billing contact's inbox, and subscription costs for the year sit with your tax receipts.
