How to get a Memory Express invoice

Memory Express gives two records for an online order. At the end of checkout you see an Order Summary screen with the company's GST number; print it from your browser as your receipt. Later, your electronic invoice is printable from your MemoryExpress.com account, and it is the proof of purchase Memory Express asks for on returns. The order confirmation email is for your records only and cannot be used as a receipt.
Print the Order Summary at checkout
The Order Summary appears once, right after you pay. Print it or save it as a PDF from the browser before closing the tab. Your card is charged as soon as the order is placed. The Order Summary therefore matches the card statement from day one.
Electronic invoice lookup in your account
Sign in to your MemoryExpress.com account to print the electronic invoice. Memory Express names it as the required proof of purchase for returns, which makes it the document to keep for warranty and business records. If you also need the GST number for an input tax credit claim, the Order Summary shows it.
Why the confirmation email is not enough
Memory Express states that its emails cannot be used as a receipt. If you only kept the email, sign in and print the invoice before you need it for a return or warranty claim.
RMA windows count from the invoice date
Returning an online order requires a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, issued within 30 days or 1 year of the original invoice date, depending on the product's warranty period. After that, Memory Express refers you to the manufacturer. Each RMA expires 15 days after it is issued.
Canadian cards and addresses
Memory Express ships only within Canada and accepts only credit cards issued in Canada. Orders cannot ship to an address that is not on file with your card issuer.
Memory Express invoices kept for the RMA clock
A failed drive in month eleven needs the invoice, not the email. Our AI agent can sign in to your MemoryExpress.com account and save each electronic invoice through bill fetching. An IT tech who buys parts on a personal card can file the invoice on an expense report, with GST shown separately for tax receipts.
