The Slack integration makes your workspace a receipt inbox. Drop a PDF or a photo in a channel where Smartbills is a member, or send it in a direct message, and it is captured as a receipt. Submitters and approvers get a message when an expense report is submitted, approved, denied or paid.
What this integration does
Receipts captured from any channel
PDFs, PNGs, JPEGs and phone photos shared where Smartbills is a member, or sent to it directly, are read and filed as receipts.
Expense report updates in a direct message
Submitters hear when a report is approved, denied or paid. Approvers hear when one is waiting for them.
Commands for the quick things
/smartbills upload, status, approve, deny and list let people act without leaving Slack.
Setting it up
Open Settings > Apps in Smartbills and search for Slack
Click Connect, sign in to Slack and allow Smartbills in your workspace
Invite Smartbills to the channels where people share receipts
