Synthesia keeps previous invoices in your billing settings. Open Settings, then Billing. On Starter and Pro plans, select the ... menu on the Plan details card and choose Manage billing details to see previous invoices and to update your payment method, billing address and VAT information.

- Open previous invoices, or update the payment method, billing address or VAT information.
VAT and billing address
The VAT information and billing address you save in Manage billing details are what Synthesia uses for billing. Update them before the next period begins if the next invoice needs your company details.
How licences are billed
Synthesia bills for the number of full licences at the start of each billing period. Under its Customer Terms of Service, purchases are non-cancelable and non-refundable, even when a renewed subscription goes unused. Check the renewal date under Billing well ahead of time, since a reminder email is not guaranteed for every plan.
Enterprise workspaces
On an Enterprise plan, billing sits under Settings, then Billing, in Workspace settings. Self-serve cancellation is limited to Starter and Pro; Enterprise customers with a signed Order Form contact their account team, and the Order Form takes precedence over the general terms. If your organization moved you onto an Enterprise licence while you still paid for a personal plan, Synthesia support can review the overlapping charges.
Invoice lookup
The previous invoices list behind Manage billing details is the lookup on self-serve plans. Synthesia's help pages do not describe a lookup outside the account. For an invoice that is not there, contact support at support@synthesia.io or through the live chat at the bottom right of the app while signed in, available around the clock.
Synthesia invoices kept per licence
Video licences are billed up front and cannot be refunded, which makes each invoice worth keeping with the project that used it. Connect the account and our AI agent signs in after each billing period and saves the invoice from Manage billing details with bill fetching. Training or marketing teams can attach it to an expense report, and the VAT is kept for your returns.
