To get a MasterClass receipt, go to Settings, then Payment History. Find the charge you need, whether it was the first purchase, a renewal or an upgrade, then select View and Download. MasterClass calls the file an invoice; it downloads as a PDF you can hand in for reimbursement or keep for your records.
Payment History, the receipt lookup
- Sign in and open Settings.
- Choose Payment History.
- Find the purchase, renewal or upgrade.
- Select View, then Download.
Upgrades get their own line, which matters if you moved to a higher plan partway through the year and need the difference documented separately.
Confirmation and renewal emails
The first copy goes to the email address on your account at the time of purchase, in the confirmation message. After that, MasterClass sends a renewal confirmation at the start of each billing period, and the receipt for that renewal is included in it. If you changed your account email since subscribing, older confirmations went to the previous address.
When a charge isn't listed
A charge that does not appear in Payment History, or a receipt you cannot locate, goes to MasterClass Support. The help center keeps separate articles for unexpected or duplicate subscription charges and for refund requests, which are the places to start if the problem is the charge itself rather than the paperwork.
MasterClass at Work invoices
Business licences follow a different route. For an invoice, email atwork@masterclass.com. The MasterClass at Work FAQ adds that invoices are only available for Unique Login business purchases, not individual purchases. A manager who bought a personal plan for one employee should use Payment History instead.
Getting it reimbursed
Employers that cover learning platforms tend to ask for proof of payment with a date and amount. The Payment History PDF covers that for each charge. Download the renewal you are claiming, not the original sign-up, if the policy reimburses the current year only.
