Sketch emails each Workspace invoice to the billing contact set in Billing Details, under Settings, Billing. Members with the Admin or Finance role can also download invoices from Billing History on the same page. Partners who manage a client Workspace reach the same Billing page by switching to that Workspace. Receipts come from the Pay Online link on each invoice.
Downloading from Billing History
- Sign in with an Admin or Finance account.
- Switch to your Workspace with the icon in the top-left of the sidebar, and check that its name is showing.
- Open Settings, then Billing.
- Download invoices from Billing History.
Getting the receipt
An invoice and its receipt are separate documents. Open the Pay Online link on any invoice and click the download receipt button to save proof of payment.
The Finance role
Admins can give any existing Workspace member the Finance role. That person can download invoices, add or schedule seats and review Workspace storage. Sketch removes all access to Workspace documents for a member with this role. It suits an accountant or office manager, not a designer who also handles billing.
Mac-only licenses and the App Store
Mac-only licenses work differently. Only the license Admin can download their invoices, by signing in to the License Manager with the Admin email and scrolling to the Invoices section on the right. For older invoices, contact Sketch support or open a ticket with FastSpring, which handled the purchase. Sketch bought through the Mac App Store is billed by Apple, and Apple Support explains how to see that purchase history.
Sketch invoices and receipts as a pair
Set the billing contact to an address that email receipt capture reads and every Workspace invoice is filed when Sketch sends it. A Finance member can also connect a login, and our AI agent downloads invoices from Billing History with bill fetching. A seat bought on a personal card can be claimed back on an expense report.
