How to get a Justworks invoice

Justworks invoices are under Pay in the left-hand navigation, on the Invoices tab. Click an invoice's timeframe for its debit details, then click Download to save it as a PDF, XLSX or CSV. Justworks' own fees are on the monthly consolidated billing invoice, in the section marked Fees.
The monthly consolidated billing invoice
This invoice shows up on the first of each month under Upcoming Invoices on the admin homepage and processes on the fifth, or the next business day. It carries the per-employee admin fees along with items such as health insurance premiums, HSA and FSA, disability and life insurance, commuter benefits, Time Tracking fees and international contractor payment usage. Workers' compensation and employer 401(k) contributions ride on each payroll invoice instead. New customers who prepaid a year of fees see that prepayment as credits.
How the admin fee is counted
The admin fee is a charge per active employee per month. Justworks treats as active anyone who completed their invite and is not terminated, even before their start date or after they stop being paid through Justworks. Paying someone after their termination date can bring a fee for them as well.
Reading a payroll invoice
Each invoice's Overview builds the debit total: payments plus employer tax contributions plus employer benefit contributions, minus credits. A toggle reveals employee withholdings and deductions for reference, and the by person view shows each employee's gross pay, deductions and net pay. Tax corrections such as SUI credits post as adjustments without an invoice of their own, and FUTA credit reductions or late fees appear the same way.
Syncing invoices to accounting
Once QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Xero is connected and mapped, the two-arrow icon syncs an invoice, and the cloud icon turns green with a white check mark when the sync succeeds.
Justworks fees, split from payroll
A Justworks month mixes payroll debits, the fees invoice and adjustments that never get a document. Our AI agent signs in with your Justworks login, opens Pay, then Invoices, and downloads each one through bill fetching. The fees invoice is then on file before month-end close. Benefit premiums billed on it back the year's tax receipts, and PDFs your payroll lead downloads can go to a mailbox watched by email receipt capture.
