Pacific Power keeps past bills in My Account under Billing & payment history. For a one-off payment without signing in, use Pay as a Guest with your account number and ZIP code. Paying from a bank account is free. Debit and credit cards carry a convenience fee.
Bill lookup under Billing & payment history
Sign in to My Account and choose Billing & payment history from the account menu. The free Pacific Power app also lets you view and pay bills. Paperless customers receive the bill as an email attachment, a text alert or both. If those emails stop, check the address on file, add accountnotices@pacificpower.net to your safe senders and make sure your mailbox isn't full.
Ways to pay Pacific Power
- Online: bank account at no fee, or a card for $1.99 per residential transaction and $7.99 for businesses, charged by the payment provider.
- Phone: 1-800-672-2403 through Paymentus, with check, credit and debit payments accepted for a fee.
- Text to pay: for a single electric account with one saved bank account. Save your text number and bank account in My Account, then text PAY to 722797.
- In person: pay stations and drop boxes, where fees may apply.
- Mail: use the reusable envelope or PO Box 26000, Portland, OR 97256-0001.
- Gift payment: any amount toward a friend's or relative's account.
Payments are processed within 48 hours and can take up to two business days to show online. Businesses can also pay by Electronic Funds Transfer, which posts within 24 to 72 hours.
Auto Pay, and the switch to paperless
With Auto Pay, the bill is paid from your bank account on the due date. Pacific Power's FAQ notes a side effect: enrolling in automatic payments, or paying online from checking or savings, also turns on paperless billing. Call 1-800-538-4228 to keep paper bills. Either way a bill is issued every month, and that bill is the proof of the expense.
Paperless credit in Oregon and Washington
Customers in Oregon and Washington get a $0.50 bill credit each month for every account enrolled in paperless billing, up to $6 per account per year.
Rocky Mountain Power is run by the same company, PacifiCorp. Its customers have their own Rocky Mountain Power guide.
Pacific Power attachments, filed for you
Paperless Pacific Power bills arrive as attachments, which makes them easy to lose in a busy inbox. email receipt capture pulls those attachments out and files them. Connect My Account and our AI agent also signs in and saves each bill from Billing & payment history through bill fetching, ready for the expense report.
