Two-way QuickBooks Online sync for expenses, receipts and vendors, so approved spend posts already coded with its receipt attached.
The QuickBooks integration connects Smartbills to QuickBooks Online and syncs expenses, receipts and invoices in both directions as transactions happen. Your bookkeeper stops re-typing entries, and the books are as current in the middle of the month as they are at close.
- Expenses arrive in QuickBooks already coded. Once an expense is approved, it posts to QuickBooks Online with the GL account and expense category you mapped during setup.
- Each receipt is attached to its entry. Receipts are matched to their transaction and attached to the journal entry in QuickBooks. Your accountant or an auditor can open the entry and see the proof.
- Vendor records stay in step both ways. Vendor details sync between Smartbills and QuickBooks. An address corrected in one system is corrected in the other.
