How to get a Subway receipt

For a Subway app or online order, look under Order History in your account, where past orders are kept for 3 months. Subway also sends transactional emails such as order confirmations, even if you opt out of marketing. For an in-restaurant purchase, the paper receipt is your copy, and its details let you claim Sub Club points within 30 days.
Order History and rewards history
Subway keeps two records in your account:
- Order History: your past orders, saved for 3 months.
- Sub Club: points earned, Subway Cash redeemed and other rewards activity, kept for up to 18 months.
The rewards history shows that a visit happened, not the full order. Save any receipt you need for an expense claim before it drops out of the 3-month window.
Claiming points from a receipt
Sub Club is Subway's US rewards program, launched in 2023 as Subway MVP Rewards. If you forgot to identify yourself as a member at checkout in a restaurant:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to your Rewards history.
- Click Submit Missing Transaction and enter the details from your receipt.
The request must be for a purchase made within the preceding 30 days. Subway's terms say that without the details from your purchase receipt, you cannot submit it. Check your account again after 48 hours to see whether it was granted. Subway may limit how many requests you send.
Earning points at the register
To avoid the request altogether, scan the Subway app, enter your phone number or swipe your Subway Gift Card at the register when you check out. In the app or on the website, log in before ordering and qualifying purchases earn points automatically.
Changes and cancellations
An app or online order cannot be changed or cancelled once submitted, and it is charged even if nobody picks it up. To ask for a change, contact the restaurant directly; its details are on the Order Details page.
Subway orders saved before the 3 months run out
Subway's Order History forgets an order after 3 months, which is shorter than most expense and tax cycles. Once your Subway account is connected, our AI agent copies each order out of Order History while it is still there, through bill fetching. Subway's order confirmation emails go to email receipt capture, and a footlong paid at the counter is covered by a photo in the receipt scanner.
